About

I began my career in higher education as an admissions officer at a small liberal arts college, where my work included reading and evaluating domestic and international applications, participating in decision-making admissions committees, training newly hired admissions staff and student volunteers, and serving as liaison to the athletic department and the financial aid office. My twelve years in admissions granted me opportunities to develop and broaden a deep understanding of the recruitment strategies colleges implement to enroll their classes year after year.

Most recently and prior to becoming an Independent Educational Consultant, I was the Director of College Counseling at a college preparatory high school in Tampa, FL, where, for nearly a decade, I provided comprehensive college counseling to students with a wide array of interests, academic abilities, talents, and financial resources. During that time, I visited and interacted with over one-hundred colleges and universities annually, and assisted hundreds of students in their college search and application process with a goal of making it authentically enjoyable and rewarding.
